sumber dari fb Encik Amri, thanks..Registration for the 2nd National course on the management of Arthropods and Snakes Bites/Stings in Malaysia (NCMAS) 2012 is now open (poster enclosed).
NCMAS is a basic prehospital management course open to the public and those engaging in activities that expose them to the risk of bites and stings from arthropods and snakes.
This course will also benefit medical students, housemen, junior medical officers, general practitioners and paramedics.
This course aims to increase the awareness and knowledge especially in recognizing the medically important Malaysian arthropods species and venomous snakes.
It also emphasizes the importance of providing proper preliminary treatment and prehospital emergency assistance in addressing the symptoms of the bite and sting of venomous animals.
The course combines didactic lectures(interactive), forum and practical sessions.
The medium of communication is English and Malay.
Number of participants is limited and confirmation of registration is by payment confirmation (bank transfer/LO/credit card).
